Healthy Weight Loss Plan and You
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve talked to some friends, and they mention this new, revolutionary diet they are on. Or they will direct me towards a fat burning pill that they take.
I know their thought process - generally around February/March, they start to feel the pressure of looking good for when the warm weather rolls in. We’ve all been there, it seems to happen every year when our laziness gets the best of us over the winter.
But what I want to promote with this site is a healthy diet weight loss plan - this is not only the most effective way to lose weight, but it’s the most effective method to keep it off. The fad diets or quick fixes may work in the short term, but they are rarely the healthiest alternative. And to truly achieve your weight loss goals, you must find a regime that you want to stick to, day in and day out.
It’s about time you take charge of your health, explore more foods and find healthier alternatives to the components of your current diet. Heck, if Bear Grylls can eat jumbo grubs because they are loaded with protein, none of us should be afraid to incorporate a few extra vegetables and fruits into our daily dishes.
When I was younger, I used to be such a picky eater, but with time I’ve learned to appreciate all types of food (yes, even some unhealthy options). I’ve become much more curious in my food exploration, and this has helped me see the light when it comes to a healthy diet regimine. With the help of Food Network and their huge recipe database, it’s easy to not only shift your dietary intake but also develop a passion for cooking. And it seems most people get into a trend of eating bad foods because of their lack of cooking skills, and ease of ordering in or picking up fast food.
Hopefully all of you find the motivation to stay committed to healthy weight loss. Yes, it’s more of a process than cutting corners, but it’s the best for your body, the best for your soul, and the best for living a long and healthy life. Here’s to a new you.

My husband is having lap band surgery today
It seems that’s a lot less invasive than gastric bypass. I hope all goes well with his procedure!
